Figurative- Departing from a literal use of words; metaphorical.

Figure of Speech- A word or phrase used in a nonliteral sense to add rhetorical force to a spoken or written passage.

Imagery- Visually descriptive or figurative language.

Trope- A figurative or metaphorical use of a word or expression.

They are all metaphorical.

Story Spinners: Option 3

As I regained consciousness, I remember asking what happened. The doctor said I was beaten and left unconscious in a dark alley. I sat up in my bed at the hospital trying to remember what happened, it finally came to me. I remember headlights in front of me, two guys got out of the car. They had bats, I tried running as fast as I could but they caught me quickly and started beating me.

Still thinking about what happened I don't know who was going to take the blame for this. I had to get up and walk around for a little while. The doctor told me to lay back down but I was to stubborn to. I was walking up and down the vestibule still thinking who that could have been, But I couldn't. So I just walked back to into the room and lied back down.

Shakespeare's Language

Look at the fen-sucked scamel walking across the street. The boil-brain was undeaf by the doctor. The ill-bred harpy was gasted by the ghost.

Remembering 9-11

I don't remember were I was 9-11 all I remember is hearing that the twin towers were blown up. I think we will still be remembering 9-11 20 years from now. Terrorists might have attacked us because they didn't like us. I don't know anybody who was directly affected by the attacks. If I was writing a story about it i would write it from somebody that was in the attack's point of view.
